SPF/DKIM/DMARC have been around a while, but more and more services are becoming more strict about them. So as time goes on, more email providers reject email without them. Basically a transition period.

OK, so the software appears to go into full mode if it is plugged into a SMART screen, regardless of being logged in or not. This doesn't sound right - the system wouldn't know if you had users in your account or not, if no-one logs in. As there's no license key any more it has no way of identifying you. I think you may be just seeing the effects of simply having a SMART screen plugged in only. We see that as well. But when a user unplugs and opens Notebook, it reverts to Basic edition unless they log in. Your site license will have specified how many users you have paid for and you can then add this many to the admin page.

Which email system are you using to send emails?

Which version are you running? And do you have the PCs all connected to SMART screens?

Even with a site license, users have to have licenses assigned to them in the admin centre - the availability of the new features is done by their logging in, not via a license key any more. A "site" license seems to not be a real thing either as it is still limited by the number of rooms/staff you have from what I've been told.

Basically, all SMART installs are Basic unless someone logs in to them to make them a higher version (as licensing is per user).

So, we ended up going with Phoenix Software for ours. As our EQU is considerably lower than our FTE, it has worked out cheaper for us (but then, we're migrating from OVS-ES with the old desktop bundle to EES with the A3 bundle for EQU). We have a lot of staff who only use a device to open Chrome and access their Gmail, so under EES we don't need to license those as A3. They're just getting A1 going forward. It also works out cheaper for us in terms of migrating to the M365 type licenses, as they include more than the old desktop bundle (all the Intune stuff etc...).

One option, use the Call Flow Designer tool. Its a separate piece of software which basically generates a program which you import into 3CX. However, you need a pro version of 3CX to use it I believe. It allows you to do a heck of a lot, all the way down to coding directly in C# if you need that level of flexibility. However, I fear your quest for an on-handset indicator will be a no-go, as there doesn't appear to be any way to change these programmatically. You could use something like this though, as the indicator - https://busylight.com/kuando-busylight-uc-alpha/ and programmatically change it with your call flow, but it would need some coding knowledge I think to do this.

We use TSOHost for our domain registrations, and Azure DNS for hosting the DNS records. Azure costs a little bit, but works well for us.
