Same way in BF1942. Shore gun placements, jets and an enemy destroyer. The 'sea' would need to be larger though! Surprisingly steady. Used a few 25% boost, but I'm usually top half of the board every game, top8 if playing in a squad. Sometimes if I'm squad lead, I'll find I end the game with 5 kills, 15 deaths but still rake up the points for laying down squad orders, ribbons etc. Also playing as the same class most games means I get stars quite often. Instant 5k/10k points!

Anyone wish BF4 would bring back the days of BF1942 with controllable ships? Imagine sailing a destroyer around the parcel storm map!

Good tip! The stinger is rubbish IMO if the chopper has an engineer repairing it. Even without, it takes3-4 rockets for a take down. the SMAW is where the action is at! It's IMBA! >

Being a brand new device with good kit in it, I would assume that it would not struggle in any way what so ever if that's your concern.

While it has been annoying, I've been lucky on the crash front. Yes it crashes when the Skyrise is brought down on Shanghai almost all of the time, and it will crash if the server dies, but apart form that, I rarely get a crash. They have also released a few server patches that have made things a bit better, but I agree that the client patch is taking an age to produce and release. And I do feel fore people like yourself who are clearly suffering more than others. Maybe take a break from it and wait for the client patch, or when you hear it's a lot more stable? When it is a 'stable' game, shenanigans will be had!

Nope, remove a device from the SIMS channel, FMS channel or Discover channel, or remove the agent all together and SIMS/FMS/Discover is left on the workstation.

Someone has created a really sensible CR on SupportNet under 1311-1231113. The idea is that when you remove a device form the SIMS, FMS or Discover channel in SOLUS3, you should have the option to uninstall the software from the workstation as well. It's a good idea, but I wonder if it should uninstall the software automatically (what's the point of leaving it on there if SOLUS3 will no longer maintain it?). Posting to draw attention to it.

Mumble seems to work OK. Had one moment where I dropped out, also gets confusing when some are on mumble, some are on my TS server!

I hear that. So many easy points if all recon classes had their spotter goggles. Would also mean dealing wit gunboats would be a lot easier!

I either use them for all out warfare, or if I'm being ganged by a gunboat I'll use jets to kamikaze into them.
