Also, surely it's been activated against your Origin account so even though it's being returned, you will still have the game in your library?

Yea, the patch has made things slightly worse for me. No mid game crashes or server load crashes yet, but the sound has gone for more maps and it's actually quite off-putting! Hit boxes are a shambles at the moment and lag between shooting at someone who is moving is really odd! Bullets show as 'hit' with the flashing cursor, but then I get killed with what looks like one shot to the head with a pistol. It then shows the guy who killed my still on 100% health! I was in the same boat as CAM for most of that game. Spawn: Die. No one person in particular (a few questionable players), just sheer rape from the other team due to rubbish bugs (RPG's, OP littlebirds etc). I was toying with a RQ too just because it was too one sided. I also question if some of the maps are a bit too small for 60/64 man games? The TOGA saver seems quite comfortable at 42 people on most maps while still getting plenty of action. OK, a temp hiatus on the knife/sniper war - when it's back on, officially declare it in this thread. I also give you permission to join our team for games now onwards. I got about 7 knife kills last night hoping one was you. But never saw your once.

Reading back through the posts, almost every one is 'it's worse after the patch' with games crashing out almost in every game. Lots of FPS drop reports too.... Le EDIT: EVERY post is "It's worse after the patch". Guess EA have FUBAR'ed it even more!

Posted here rather than games as it's not really a specific "game" issue. When Origin came out for BF3, there were LOADS of posts, articles, blog's etc picking apart their T's & C's that hinted at monitoring running applications, scanning your PC to see what software you have installed etc etc. Does anyone know if this is still the case or has this now been addressed by EA? How does Origin stand around 'security' compared to the likes of Steam?

I found a fix that worked great for me. : battlefield_4 Seems Win 7 will 'park' some cores even wien running programs. Seems 4 of mine were parked, unparked them and performance has gone up a bit. I suggest you buy it on Origin when you get home and experience it! Podding up to the titan was sheer pleasure!!!
