That is a pain but you could control which ports are allowed to which vlan by using vlan acls. The problem in a school is that you can not strictly group staff into what they need they will also need some thing on the wrong side of your security model.

Converting from Gas to electric central heating

I actually found a combi useless it either cold or comes out red hot!! -
Has anyone converted form Gas to electric central heating our Boiler is playing up and it looks like we cannot get a boiler grant. So I am wondering about going all electric for heating as we can get the hot water done and the main rooms and then fit the other heaters at a later date. Anyone done this?

From of what I have seen Nimble is the technology of choice at the moment so go with them. They seem to be able to do what schools what is high performance and high storage at ok costs.

Does it have the old ip address? Have you used wireshark to sniff just connected to the zone director? Also I would start with untagged on vlan1 as the Zone Director only needs to be on vlan 8 if you are tunnelling connections.

For a friends we camped two night and rode the Dragons Back Trail and then had a nice meal at a quite pub. For Sunday it was a little chief breakfast and the beach on Sunday.
