I am finally getting FTTC installed what is the best way to lave my wiring for the BT engineer. I currently have a NTE5 which goes to another NTE5 should I get the engineer to put the filter on the NTE5e installed by me and leave it and sort it out another time. The other option is should I fit two RJ45 sockets and leave them a phone side and a VDSL side to go in the BT's NTE5e face plate? What would you do? The domestic operations manager is supervising (Wife) so I will be speaking on the phone to the engineer when he turns up.
