Hi Everyone, Just a quick one that has a simple answer I'm sure but not if you don't know it, Is there a quick and easy way to stop PowerPoint 2013 going into extended desktop mode when showing a presentation on an interactive whiteboard ??? Every time a PowerPoint is shown on a whiteboard it goes to extended desktop mode and stays there, I'm sure there must be a way of stopping it or even disabling extended mode altogether.

It is Windows Clients that are connecting is DirectAccess straight forward to setup ??

Hi Everyone, I wonder if anybody could help me or point me in the right direction please, we currently have a Somoothwall UTM 1000 for Firewall, VPN and Web Filtering but the VPN is a little bit flakey and doesn't always work for some reason ??? Prior to Smoothwall being installed there was a Cisco ASA5505 doing everything and apparently there were no issues with the VPN at all, as we still have the device and it still has the licence for 25 con-current connections I would like to reinstate it but only as a VPN connection, any suggestions as how I would go about this please ???

Good Morning, I wonder if anyone might be able to help with my problem, we have a finance server running Server 2008R2 with full blown SQL2012. We have had an issue with the server and I am trying to do a restore of the databases but my issue seems to be with the master db as follows; Stop the SQL Service open power shell and navigate to the SQl2012 Binn folder run the following command ".\slqservr.exe -m -c -s sql2012 Power shell then goes through it process then has a continuous loop saying 'Error 18456, severity 14, state 8 login failed for user "sa" reason password did not match that for login provided". I understand that its an authentication error but I didn't provide a 'sa' password, I tried changing the service to a system account instead but this made no difference either, is there anything that anyone can suggest on how to get round this as the other databases attached fine through SQL Management Studio, I'm just having the problem trying to restore the master database.

Yep that's what I thought, thank you anyway I will have a look at setting up a brand new database of my own and see what happens.

Please be patient with me I am a first time user, I work as the technician for a school who wants to provide SIMS training for some of our local schools. I do not want to use our data for obvious reasons and could really do with a copy of the waters edge primary test data, I have been in touch with Capita but have not yet had a response but my guess is as we are not part of the LEA (due to our LEA not having a support team) we will not be allowed it. Is there any other suggestion anyone could make as an alternative should this data not be available to me ??? Thanks in advance.
