If you right click / control click on any .ppt file and go to 'get info' there will be a section entitled 'open with' and a drop down box to select a default application, if you select Powerpoint and close the get info window. Hi all, I think this is the right forum for this, if it isn't let me know. We have a Dell 3115cn printer and the paper tray has broke (beyond repair), the rest of the printer works fine. Does anyone know if/where you can get a replacement part for this? Or maybe its covered under warranty? Cheers, Dan

Last game I postal pre ordered was Tomb Raider Aniversary for ps2 from HMV the eta just kept getting pushed back and back, so maybe its not postal pre orders to be wary off its just getting them from HMV.

I gave up on postal pre orders as I usually ended up getting the game about a week after everyone else.

I got a rather disapointing '13.41223% - Geekish Tendencies' Probably mainly because I never been interested in star trek.

We do use this but it takes 40-60 mins to deploy a dual boot image as oppose to fog which take 10 minutes for a windows only partition. I realise why this is, I just mentioned it as a comparrison

The school I work at has all macs (we are a media arts school) apart from the obvious reasons you stated i think these are also good reasons: Dual Boot - All new macs dual boot so if your licensed you can put xp/vista on them and have the best of both worlds Stable - I find that Mac OS X is more stable than XP or Vista Bult in software - Most Macs come with iLife installed which is great for the smaller media / art projects that might be going on. One downside is the deployment of OS X and XP/Vista, if your only getting a few then you should be ok, otherwise it can take a while to deploy an image. Like I said we have over 200 Macs in school (as I'm sure other do) If you need any more info just pm me. Hope this helps, Dan

A particular one doesn't spring to mind but if your spending £100 you should be able to get a decent one, I spent just £19 on mine and it works great.

Hi could anyone do me a good price for an 'InFocus IN2102 SVGA Projector' and 'Vision Techmount TM1200 projector bracket'. I know it might be a bit picky about the bracket but we've used them before and found it really easy to 'modify' the current ceiling mount and pole to attach to this particular bracket. Cheers, Dan

Hi just a quick question. Has anyone else had any trouble at all with the Sanyo XE-40 projector? Every school I work in (and some I don't) have had trouble with these projectors breaking on a regular basis. Hi all, What I'm trying to do is create a .bat or .vbs script that will copy a folder from the network to c:\program files. I can do this no problem, what I want to know is how can I copy the folder only if it doesn't already exist in c:\program files. I'm new to IF functions in scripts so any help is welcomed. Also if possible I would prefer a .bat file rather than .vbs. Thanks, Dan
