round2it

a visitor had some like these i will try and find out tomorrow if you are gonna be using these with movie maker stay away from hd versions try get SD

thats the way i would go full access then work backwards keep things simple and dont take anything for granted as it always ends up as something blindingly obvious:doh: hopefully the guys and girls on Edugeek might be able to help more than me you could also ask sysman_MK who seemed to have the same sort of issue that you are having with the long delay in PPT. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/educational-software/46023-slow-responding-smartboard.html see if he ever got to the bottom of it.

you got me could you try promote her username to admin level and see if that works any differently just to see if it is a permissions thing ? sorry clutching at straws here 6. Connected another laptop to her SmartBoard and had her login and run the presentations - issue still existed. cant be video as problem existed on another laptop unless it was identical to the other is it all her presentations or a few

just seems to be profile related to that user to me

hermmmmmmm she defo getting a mandatory profile? same as all other teachers as you say you had to delete her local profile check in ad what profile she is getting

sounds about correct to me ours is on gigabit switch to speed things up a bit.

big thanks to dave for sending over some templates....................

smartwater/stickers dont make a damb bit of difference these days i am etching our postcode and asset number onto the laptops so they can not wipe it off no one wants to buy a laptop with a dirty great big postcode etched all over it. chances of getting them back are slim. Only thing to do is do an audit on all 700 laptops it will be hard but worth it as you will see what state they are in and check asset tags against your inventory. you eventually find the serial number you require. OUCH

i would go with ps drivers for hp printers also do you use pcounter by any chance?

midnight Just as suspected it has fixed itself all saved data ok and trophies. time for bed

'Woohoo my ps3 works, the psn is a lonely place right now, no one on my list is online and I have a fair few now lol. I was sure it was on till 2am last night and thats why its working I guess.' somebody slap him playing fifa 10 on psp poor ps3...........

can you download a trial version they usually work for a trial period try prometheanworld

we have some cameras like these i found that they were trying to be used as pc cameras not usb storage device hence the system saying you can not install the pc camera. as they do not have permmisions to install new hardware. usually the cameras have a button to select pc camera mode or usb/pc mode

same here for the client files and a shortcut. saved a lot of work we did an upgrade a couple of weeks ago and all seems to be fine our attendance person said facility was faster. wow i did not expect that. touch wood eportal and facility are running fine. a little test for performance of eportal on one of your workstations install fiddler and monitor all http activity ,log in to eportal on our system eportal can not find a few css files and that slows things down abit does anyone else have this issue. http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/

i really don't wanna go down that road again after fixing a ylod on someone elses ps3 it has too many screws to be bothering with. after stripping it down i must say t they are quite well put together have you seen the size of the fan in the old phats it is huge...... getting to the battery is a pain. i will wait till tomorrow i am not that desparate to play.

thats it i am getting the psp charged up i am not sitting here watching soaps with the wife.

Playstation 3 has a bug in the RTC PC unaffected we can not play until tomorrow.

Official statement from Sony: "As you may be aware, some customers have been unable to connect to the PlayStation Network today. This problem affects the models other than the new slim PS3. "We believe we have identified that this problem is being caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system. "Errors include: * The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.When the user tries to sign in to the PlayStation Network, the following message appears on the screen; "An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F)". * When the user tries to launch a game, the following error message appears on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; "Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game." * When the user tries to set the time and date of the system via the Internet, the following message appears on the screen; "The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)" * Users are not able to play back certain rental video downloaded from the PlayStation Store before the expiration date. "We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data. "As mentioned above, please be advised that the new slim PS3 is not affected with this error. We are doing our best to resolve the issue and do apologize for any inconvenience caused." http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/comment/9/2010/03/282d26ab0c54501af7199a00cee18002/original.gif the fix will be in tomorrow
