Hi All, I have a problem with my Sims connect.ini, when installing the Spring 2015 update on the machines, they are getting the wrong ini file and it is pointing towards an old server, i have spoken to capita and they have informed me to change the ini file in Solus and click to send it to the clients, i have done this but it does not appear to do anything, does anyone have any advice to sort this problem ? Also does anyone know where i can check whether this new ini file is actually being sent out ? Regards Will

Hi All, Was just wondering whether you guys had noticed a difference in performance between Virtual Disks and Physical Disks I know VHD's have there obvious advantages (Felxibility, Expandablility) but do you lose Read Write speed on a Virtual disk or not ? Hi All, Was wondering if any of you knew how to change the default save location for Office2013, i am asking this because the kids in our school are not able to save to the C Drive which is the default location for office on original installation.. I would like to change it so that the kids are automatically given their U Drive to save to, is this something that is possible. ? Regards Will

Hi All, We are currently experiencing some issues with AB Tutor, we have the program locked down so that staff can only control the room they are in, however sometimes when a teacher is demo'ing to their class via AB Tutor we get random occurences of this lesson being Demo'd to other classrooms "Randomly" they are never the same machines and the affect just 1 or 2 machines in the building. I was wondering whether anyone had seen anything similar as I know quite a few people on here use AB Tutor! as far as i can remember it has always happened when we were on the LLN Connection aswell as on the SchoolsBroadband connection !

Hi, The guide you gave me originally worked, however the users i set up using this method then stop working intermittently ! Any ideas ?

I did this via the GPO for deployed printers ! and this worked spot on.

Hi All Moved away from LLN However some of our SLT are still using lln emails until the cut off date in march! I need to be able to connect their outlook to the LLN Mail Servers. Has anyone managed to do this ? Regards Will

This was the inital plan however our list of users changes quite a lot as we are a "learning program' school which means we can have weekly changes to AD !?

We have a piece of software called E-Safe that monitors the children and alerts the SLT to any violations (Swearing etc). Our username convention is not particularly intuitive and we constantly get emails fromSLT asking for us to tell him who each user name refers to. We need him to be able to search himself as this is takingup large portions of our time however we do not have the Confidence in allowing full read write access to AD/
