[ms office - 2010] Word GPO - disabling check spelling as you type

Yes that does work, and it is what I am currently having to do but with 160 accounts that need spell check disabled I was rather hoping I could do it centrally rather than logging on as every single account. -
[ms office - 2010] Word GPO - disabling check spelling as you type

A quick read of the Policy shows that spell checking delay only effects terminal server sessions, so I still have no way of disabling spell checker!? -
[ms office - 2010] Word GPO - disabling check spelling as you type
capncrunch replied to capncrunch's topic in Office Software
I have already disabled "Check grammar with spelling" and i have trawled through a lot of microsoft documentation regarding the policy settings for office but unlike, powerpoint, one note, publisher and outlook it seems Word does not have a "check spelling as you type" option like the they do. I suppose I could set start background checker to a mahoosive number but I would have much preffered a definate "off" option... -
I am probably looking right past it but... after a good while googling, scouring microsoft tech net and searching through every conceivable option in the Word GPO I just cannot find where to turn off "check spelling as you type". I have turned off most of the other spell checking elements but that one still eludes me so I am still getting the red squigly underline. Please could somebody point me in the right direction?

Nope, it first appeared in the original halflife as a deathmatch map. IIRC it had a cannon in the towers at each corner...

so many.... Mario Kart on the Snes (the original and best), beating special cup on 150cc, Rainbow road is the hardest track ever! System Shock 2 as the whole thing was sooo scary, as was Half life when you were crawling through a vent with just a flashlight when a head crab jumps out. Definatley brown trousers time. FF7 defeating sephiroth(sp?) in the final epic battle, though knights of the round made it much easier. Zelda a link to the past again on the Snes, just an absolute classic! and of course Goldeneye (and then Perfect Dark) for the N64 soooo many hours spent playing multiplayer death match, using floating mines on the bunker map, golden gun. no multiplayer console game has beaten it IMHO theres probably more...

Nevermind, we have found the ports that needed opening. Took much trial and error narrowing the range from 1000 ports to just 5 but crisis averted

Thread Revival! We are still having problems with Running Solidworks. Everytime we try it comes back with the error message; Could not obtain a license for Solidworks Standard. Server node is down or not responding. (-96,491,0) We have found however when we turned off the firewall on the solidworks server, Clients could connect and everything worked fine. Soon as we turned it on again we receive the error message. We have tried hundreds of different exception and ports but none seem to work. Any help would be appreciated!

A man wakes up on a desert island, as he slowly comes round and looks at his surroundings he quickly realises that he is alone and that everything looks the same… Everywhere he goes and everything he sees on the island has this same red-ish colour, the trees, the sand, the sea all in this same brown sort of colour. And as he explores more even the birds and the insects are sporting this strange hue. As he slowly meanders across the islands shore he notices his feet are now turning this same off red colour and it is spreading! up past his ankles, shins, even his knees and it not stopping. And he cries out in Anguish “OH NO, I’M MAROONED!”

I will second that motion I also use talkphotography, there is a massive wealth of experience on there. And a good place to get critique on your pictures. As for looking at which camera to get i would recommend Digital Cameras: Digital Photography Review, News, Reviews, Forums, FAQ plenty of reviews and run downs of all the specs of each camera.

Yep another vote for the Sandisk Sansa clip, has never let me down. AFAIK it does do playlists but you have to create them on the MP3 player itself,

well... it was working... The intial problem was that the Acer N260G also has wireless... and lanview was picking up the Wireless cards MAC Address and not the wired connections mac address. So of course it would not wake on lan from the wireless. All fine and good and it would now WOL... Except now it doesn't anymore, we have not changed anything and I am not sure why

ignore this thread problem solved:D

We have recently been supplied with 2 Acer Veriton N260G computers to run Xibo from. Now xibo runs fine on the machines but unfortunatley neither of them will WOL. I have installed the latest network drivers and checked and re-checked both the bios and the settings in device manager but to no avail. Could anyone shed some light on this?
