so anyone want to have a shot at what we will find out tomorrow? my guesses launch date about 17th match £250 base model £300 with more storage and a game 720p touch screen 3-5 hours battery life undocked zelda botw at launch probably worldwide maybe not europe (and if it is will be missing some languages) no mainstream mario game at launch but one for summer/xmas mario kart or splatoon with the other to fallow in a month or so gamecube/nes/snes/n64/gba virtual console but none heavily populated wii/wiiu vc announced but coming at a later date no smash until xmas at the earliest probably no trophy / achievement system uses my nintendo account so hopefully no more fiend codes and with any luck downloaded titles are tied to an account not a device

the only time ive seen no start menu is with applocker but ive never been able to pin it down more than that

if not just buy it in the xbox store you can do that from the xbox app on a pc and fh3 was on sale over xmas so presumably will be again

might be longer as theres a 2nd expansion due and you can purchase a cheaper pack with both so i dont expect blizard mountain to be cheap until some time after expansion 2 is released

played blizard mountain a bit but not since xmas. Keep trying on my laptop but because alienware use custom drivers for my 1070 the version number is too low it complains at startup but does load but i dont think ive managed to play for more than 10 mins esp annoying as forza apex runs fine in 4k at 60fps. I do think that when horizons 4 comes out im going to wait this time and probably not bother with dlc i dont think ive got my moneys worth from £100 or so ive had much more hours dumped into pokemon sun/moon

you can fit your own ssd still to mac minis as far as I remember might be cheaper to buy a kit to get into mac minis and shove in a generic 2.5" ssd than have apple do it for you (you cant upgrade ram though)

from what i hear mario is less likely zelda atm looks like everywhere but Europe BUT as its supposedly region free just import from the states

Ive got a whiteboard pc that has sasoon penpals font installed. In for example word its fine select the font type and its in sasoon but in notebook (15) it says sasoon but looks like the default aerial font. Any ideas tried different users in case it was a profile issue made no odds and as said the font seems to be installed correctly as it works fine in word

greatest football game definitely but I think id rather play turrican 2 if just for the music

youve eliminated that the kvm is defective but if the affected pc just dosent like that usb device for some reason (and ive seen it happen) it might be that one device isnt 100% up to standard and the other isnt entirely happy with it

have you tried woling it or plugging in a non kvm mouse/keyboard?

where is your xml file ive found it worked better (at least under 8.1) if it was on the c drive rather than say \\domain\netlogon

looks decent but if you have any retro games consoles etc it has no scart socket again maybe not an issue for you but something i wouldnt even of thought about them removing (and i wouldnt be even slightly surprised if you can get scart - hdmi adapters)

if its the same tv talk to richer sounds (id rather buy from then anyway) they sometimes price match iirc

again personal preference sometimes its handy to just quickly fire up netflix/youtube/whatever without having to turn on a n other box but ymmv

no specific recommendations but if you dont change your tv often may as well get an up to date one as possible so in 3-5 years its less of an issue as while 4k/hdr atm is pretty pointless in 3-5 years it probably wont be. If it has smart might be worth making sure its android as at least apps can be updated my old tv i gave to my parents the youtube app no longer works because its too old and sony haven't updated it in years (again not a deal breaker but it can be anoying)

i actually wonder software wise if one note isnt a good answer as most schools have office anyway so its basically free and works with any board so you arnt stuck with licensing issues if you move from say promethian to smart etc

im not a fan of the smartboard tv style boards they just seem to cause more issues than they are worth (fussy about both usb and hdmi length, dying sensors, akward to use without a remote) but teachers like the software and its extortionate to buy for non smart devices

at a guess the target machine has a raid array or other sata etc controller that the default set of drivers on the dvd/pen drive dosent recognise. either get the raid driver on the usb disk and point it at it when asked or use dism on another pc to inject the device driver into the wim file or use mdt/wds to install the os and add the driver to their driver store

do the cards work if you boot to safe mode with networking?

depends if it is now truly a cmd replacement and it has aliases for old dos commands those scripts will probably run fine in powershell command line anyway thats without thinking that there are clever people at ms who couldn't convert those scripts or even write a script to convert those scripts or even simply use aliases so that any dos command that dosent work is an alias to a command that does the same thing
