Thanks Our XP based music suite has Sibelius 6 with Sibelius Instruments, Sibelius Scorch, Groovy Music and Groovy City (mainly aimed at primary pupils, so depends on what level you're looking at), Cubase Essentials (we didn't need the full version and you seem to get a fairly hefty discount for not getting it) and Sequel 2. As far as I'm aware that works well and it didn't cost us too much.

What OS will they be running?

Forgot to mention that I've had a chat with Gabriel Thompson (Mikey - My Family) at a showing of The Merry Wives of Windsor, where he was playing a Frenchman (forget the character name). He signed the booklet for me.

Again, depends how you class famous really. Met the band members of Deathstars in London last year, and Herman Lee of Dragonforce just after they released their third album. I also shared a drink with Sam Totman of Dragonforce in the same meet.

We have a couple of the stalky iMacs just laying around. Turns out that they fit quite nicely on a shelving unit designed for trays. We are planning on using one of them to display something to anyone that walks through the door. Problem is that we have no idea what!

As opposed to all of those single floor lifts that you get?

Does anyone still have version 1.3 for Windows, as I wasn't thinking properly last night and blindly agreed to update to 1.4. If so, could you please let me have a copy... Thanks

I like that! Mine is currently attached to the side of the shelf facing me and away from the door, but it would be good to have it in full view.

I was given a sign last week for my birthday, intended for the office door but I can't put it up unless I can think of an alternative for the acronym, but both the NM and myself have drawn a blank. The sign reads: "B.O.F.H. Headquarters" Any (work safe) ideas that I could tell people that it means? Thanks in advance. PS. The School Business Manager is the one to suggest that I put it up, so no trouble on that front.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I'm having problems with this now. I'm trying to install Notebook 10.6 but don't particularly want to have to run around to each machine to enter the activation key. Is there any way of automating this? I can't find any switches in the installer to allow a key to be entered during installation and I can't seem to find anything about it at all. If anyone can help me with this I'd be grateful.

Well, it's all in the spirit of the thing. Besides, What's wrong with being a tranny?! Still, I'd be interested to see just how many of us there are that do either paintballing or airsoft.

I'm also an airsofter. IMO, much better than paintballing due to the realism. The ability to customise the weapons is brilliant. I use a scoped AUG and an HK416 with grenade launcher (fantastic fun to fire into a building ) and red dot site. I go to a site in Layer Marney just outside of Colchester. £20 walk on fee and £15 for equipment hire including gun with 2 mags, cammo, mask and 2000 bbs. Not a bad price

It depends what your current setup is and what os you're running. Personally I just got another cheap pci graphics card (£35 gforce 6600) and put a couple of monitors on that.

I play Call of Duty 4 online using Punkbuster with no problems. So far I have only had problems playing Fallout 3, which gets so far into the game then crashes at the same point every time. Everything else seems to be working fine.
