Does anyone know how to read (rather than execute) the "bfz.php" or similar file that is provided in the Google links? Looks like Google is just indexing loads of compromised web-sites, rather than being at fault itself? Running Firefox with NoScript just seems to pull up a page of junk (text and further links), so maybe it is some script kicked of by PHP that gives the virus scanner message (and i don't want to risk running it, hence wondering what the source of the PHP code is)? mb

For level 8 i fire small shots at the bottom right (base) of the green tower to try to make it tip to the right in one "lump" (think of a lumberjack cutting a "V" in the trunk of a tree to control where it falls). If it doesn't fall cleanly then just do a "restart" for the level, because i can't see how any rubber re-bounds can clear a collapsed tower. HTH, mb

Does anyone know any utilities that give a low-level view of hard drives and file systems? Something that can access physical sectors and display the results in a meaningful way - for example, expand the MBR and show the partition table. Also, one that can interpret file systems, thus break down the BIOS parameter block on FAT and the MFT records etc on NTFS. Any other supported file systems (e.g for Linux) would also be useful as well. It needs to run under Windows, but the disk to be looked at would typically be connected via an external USB converter thingy. I have tried Disk Investigator which is excellent, but only works on partitions. Roadkil's Sector Editor does access the whole disk, but only displays the data in raw format. As always, ideally a free one, but happy to pay for something that does a good job. Thanks in advance, Cheers, mb

Small and VESA mountable to keep it out of harms way. You just need a VLK licence to run XP or whatever (or i am sure that one of our resident sponsors will come up with a suitable package price ). mb

The £240 quid one from Argos is only the 4-hour battery life version - you would spend well over a ton buying the 7-hour battery. However, the £240 "Currys" model mentioned above does say 7-hours! mb (who spent over £300 quid when he bought one earlier this year from eBuyer! )

You are using exactly the same argument that (some) people use to justify torture! "If Mr X was the only person who knows the code to stop a bomb going off on a plane, surely that justifies torturing him to get an answer." ...except that at the time you do not know for sure the he really planted the bomb or knows the code (or cannot be sure in the eyes of the law that you stabbed someone) until after the event (or trial). I expect that you also support 90 days detention without trail as well mb
