The way I use my phone, I'll stretch to it. I occasionally make phone calls but make plenty of use of SMS & various Apps.

I'm currently on the Magic, a great phone but slow now. I'm torn between Galaxy S & Desire, unless I hear different.

I'm due an upgrade next week. What is the best Android phone currently available?

@dwhyte85 To clarify, I would agree that a solution that made a pupil's data pop up on the screen when a specific person rang would be great. I have seen so many of these salesmen who have sold unnecessary software to school, going over the heads of those that know better. I did read your first post and from that came to the same conclusion as Localzuk (it took a while after for them to agree with me) that the method was clunky and a simpler existing solution was already available. I was being positive, I even offered a solution, and not having a go at you but schools who are mesmerized by flashy demos paying out thousands for stuff they do not use or need.

The word 'concept' is distictly absent. However the word 'software' is visible. It's a non-problem in MY opinion, as the solution exists in a simple form.

Caller ID and a simple report would be just as effective. You are probably the most optimistic person I have come across for a long time is you think it may be free. My experience, which is quite extensive, is that these things come at a premium price.

True but how will yuou get the information right in the first place, including change of mobile numbers. The software would have to pay for itself, I doubt very much that it will. If the language barrier is that difficult one can only imagine what the phone call would achieve.

I don't think its been mentioned but I have just discovered Shelves. Cataglogue your music collection, gadgets, DVDs, software and more. You are able to search or scan by barcode. Also AppBrain, better than Market as you can read about the Apps, get recommendations by gender, age etc. mark for doenload and install then synch your phone to install.

You are so right. We produce simple, step by step directions. Someone always need us to read these to them. We send important emails with 'Do not delete, make sure they reach the person.......' in bold and in red.They delete them and do not pass them on. It's a lose lose situation, but it's a job that I never expected to be easy.
