I would if I could get on the site. It keeps timing out. I'm trying to get all the behaviour reports, especially those with points totals but 788 would be a start. Thanks

Is everyone else still having problems with SupprtNet. I deperately trying to download some Behaviour Report Defs.

Been trying to download some report defs all day, Rick Gastley popping up on my screen would have been the last straw.

Anyone know of or use a timetable that integrates with SIMS. A Nova-T Lite if you like. It is for a Special school who have a small number of secondary age pupils who need a timetable, so Nova-t is not an option.

You are not really getting it are you? A weapon is something that is used with the intention to kill or mame. Not something that has killed or mamed. The clue here is intention. Next you will be charging Tesco with murder because they supplied the food that someone choked to death on. To stick with the topic. I learned relatively late, to drive, about 24. I have never injured anyone, although I had a couple of minor accidents, both at walking pace. An interesting program last night 'Mythbusters' showed the difference between a car doing 50 into a steel wall and a car doing 100 into the same wall. The point being that the 100 MPH crash was a great deal than twice the amount of damage not the twice as much expected. Also two cars doing 50 head on do not create an impact of 100 but both cars an impact of 50 each. My point being there should be a lot more education when learning to drive other than manouvres etc. A spell in front of a screen seeing the result of accidents wouldn't go amiss.

Don't like cars do you? Virtually anything couls be a Lethal Device or Leathal Weapon. But only with intent. How many drivers go to work or anywhere intending to kill?
-
Take a look at what you wrote, please, the baseball bat once used is a weapon. in the rack with the other bats........ a baseball bat. Of all the thousands of cars in the massive car park, awaiting delivery, near me. How many will be a weapon? maybe one, probably none. Edit: Try POTENTIAL lethal device, POTENTIAL lethal weapon. Deisgned as transport.
-
Rubbish again. The car would only be a weapon if used to kill. (edit: or been designed to kill) Surely you have access to a dictionary. Tell you what, my mouse lead against you car. In the classroom on the 4th floor.
-
Let's not be silly. A car is NOT a lethal weapon. It is not a weapon. It could be used as such but it is not designed as such. Apply that nonsense logic to: a computer, drop[ed from the 6 floor would kill you. A mouse lead, a fantastic Garrote. A pen as good as Stilletto.
-
Lethal weapon, you kill me, my car has never, repeat never killed anyone or anything larger than a fly. So not a lethal weapon. With you probable arguement you bike is a lethal weapon having used poisonous materials to manufacture, machinery capable of killing...... etc. etc. Be sensible. Am i supposed to never drive past a person on a bike in case he suddenly fall off or swerve, same with a walking drunk? Wake up, cyclists have as much responsibility to drive/ride sober and sensibly as the rest of us. You will also find that people are capable of being and have been killed by bicycles.

Until a car runs over you or swerves to avoid you, ploughing into the family car coming the other way?
-
Great until you have some cough mixture or one of the many other things containing a small amount of alcohol.

Try: Over writing with dry markers, leave for a few minutes and rub off. Pencil eraser One of those magic sponges. I would test a small area or spare board first. -
£40 and 24months, I didn't want it that much.

Well I got my Desire. I'm really happy with it. I have yet to get Frankie Laine ringtone. I'm not at all pleased with Phones4u, who tried to take £1 out of my bank account to check my credit worthyness. This was blocked, reason being they actually ended up taking £451 from an alternative card. they will be getting an invoice at the end of this all for my time. I do still have to add data to my account. I'll avoid Phones4U from now on though

I don't agree with the death penalty, but isn't that what she is giving the child, a slow one maybe.

I'd be tempted to say "I'll send someone technical down later to switch the wall plugs on"

I've worked with all sorts of stuff in S Africa. Starting in 2004 with desktops that had been there for a couple of years having been taken by the RAF. The school is now down to 3 desktops and only 2 of those decent. I have been promised some laptops which i will get people to carry over. I have made 4 trips and had no problem taking them on a plane. I think you have to let the people working there decide if it is worth them taking, point out the pitfalls with the equipment. If they still think it is worth taking and you are happy to part with it............ you've done your bit. I'm fortunate enough to be able to decide what is worth sending and know the people who will end up using and setting them up.

A bit like a technical version of bubble wrap. One road you might go down is that Google Apps do a remote to use a touch screen as a mouse or possibly even a joystick.
-
Never used one. But when you think about it they were designed to click for a reason, so no reason why they can't be made not to. I think we 'need' it like clicks on soft keyboards on phones.
-
How about their own non-clicking mouse?

Luckily I have a fraud alert setup with my bank and got an automated call fom them this morning or I might have missed it.

My Desire is on it's way. I have less than 90 days with Vodafone, Phones4U are giving me £60 to cover the remaining payments, free phone 18month contract. they tried to get me to take a 24mnth contract and also tried to take £1 from my bank as a credit cheque. It got rejected, I found out today the tried to take £451. I'm keeping an eye on my Mastercard where the check worked.

It's the best way to be striped. Otherwise it gets on your clothes.
