  1. Ditching email on-prem is the medium term plan - already there for safeguarding alerting, though it is still a feature switched option
  2. Email me - or your CSM - and we will hunt down whoever was the first email set up on it, and add you if it wasnt you
  3. Could be something google-side. The big players are trying to make it impossible to send email outside their closed ecosystem. Probably good for spam, bad for many other things.
  4. I am looking forward to this!
  5. If it's for safeguarding alerts, it might be easier just to get them sent through our cloud system. It does require you to have that set up and alerting, and then I need to flick a switch, so drop me an email
  6. If you have instances of people lying to you - tell me ASAP. We are under a huge amount of strain at the moment - a large ticket volume, plus lots of sickness and other absences throughout this year has meant support isnt where it should be. We're currently training new hires to help. I know it is frustrating, but we are working to fix it. With regard to Chromebook auth - yes, cloud filter is the way to go. It's no cost and it does a much better job, as theres no MiTM needed.
  7. You will need to set up notifications in the cloud portal - there's 2 systems, but once you are set up in the cloud we can move your on-prem alerts there too
  8. Next few days - it is fixed, but the release is queued behind the 2.3.0 release, as the fix just missed the window for that, so expect 2.30. probably this week, and 2.3.1 next
  9. Other than the error messages, what issues are you seeing? If you can ping me the ticket # by email that would help
  10. My mistake - I have just had clarification there are still some events generated automatically in levels 1 and 2 Offensive user, Sexual content, and bullying. This was probably a L2 Sexual Content. I asked the mod team leader, and she cant immediately put her hand on an escalation around XXX - meanwhile a member of the team is checking into why that might have been raised. If you have a ticket number that would be great.
  11. Sorry I missed this as I was away. Good chance the second account hasnt automatically signed into the browser - we dont make a connection if we have no username.
  12. So there may be GSuite/Azure link in our next-but-one version (Newport) but it's not guaranteed. At the moment, of course, you have certificate, and password - so the password doesnt work on any fool's computer if they dont have the cert, so you do have a second factor, and it does offer protection from (eg) credential stuffing
  13. We've identified a fix and there will be a hotfix of the chrome extension out within a few days
  14. Nah, it's already a high priority fix - I'll let you know what the craic is ASAP
  15. The best bet is to use the cloud filter, does all the filtering in a chrome extension, and solves all auth/mitm issues
  16. Have you two domains maybe? Sometimes MS uses one domain, and your public facing email is on another
  17. Glad you got to the bottom of it - sorry, have been away a couple of weeks. There's no probs at all doing this. For anyone who does run into hardware trouble, any of the VM hypervisors will make a nice shim to sort it out.
  18. Misidentification is usually down to roaming between access points, and the AP not sending intermediate radius accounting messages. As long as the smoothwall is getting the right data from your aps, you should be OK I'd still say it's your best bet, as once folks are logged in, that's them sorted for good. Have you a support ticket active? Tom
  19. All monitor alerts are human reviewed (yes, it is a lot of work). We are working on integrating filter alerts into Monitor...
  20. I have asked our team to take a look at these sites see if there's anything clever.

This. Insulates you from hardware compatibility, and you can burn the server down and start again more easily.
  22. Perhaps @MrDrabble and @David44 are on the same ISP and it's an upstream issue?
  23. Beware of solutions that only look at web searches, or whose risk categories don't cover KCSIE and PREVENT. I don't think that's true of anything suggested here, but there are a handful of products that really dont give great visibility.
  24. I've been reasonably happy with Hive. Not too "smart". I just leave the heating "on" the whole time but schedule temperature changes. Main gripe is our bedroom rad is behind the curtains (I cant convince my wife shorter curtains are appropriate) and so the thermostatic valve reads way lower than the "true" temp in the room. I suspect your heating "overrunns" the target temp so it doesnt immediately drop below and go into "bang bang" where the heating goes on and off rapidly.
