No it doesn't really... The Free logmein gives you desktop only... where as Gotomy PC gives you drag and drop file transfer... Gotomy PC is a superior product to Logmein.... you can also have a desktop shortcut with gotomy pc that will instantly open the remote desktop with no passwords or logging on malarky

The LGFL were going to host fronter on servers in London and ring fence London... but something happened and this has seemed to have been scrapped..

I don't understand why this is as every single London Borough is having Fronter hosted on Fronter servers...

See again Heads kept in the dark for as long as possible... happend here in out County... Head defended the Tech"over my dead body" and by the time he really found out it was too late and he said well you going have to accept it and move on..

Of course they would.. because without you they wouldn't even know where to begin... but once they have sucked you dry of Information ? How are they going to plug in a printer or Calibrate a whiteboard with Netsupport ? The VLE is being rolled out accross London by Fronter hosted on Fronter Servers in Norway... Northgate has nothing to do with it... so if they are showing it off then they are reaping accolades for something that has nothing to do with them...

Hasn't Kent just been BSF'ed to Northgate... how would the TUPING work as there is no job protection under 1 year of service..

What I don't understand is why are people picking up that some BSF schools are failing so therefore the BSF is not as Great as it is made out to be !

Well facilities have a larger budget and they are also being outsourced...

Yep and when you come in and speak the truth you are branded as a spoilsport and someone that percieved as being negative about the "shiny new" ICT and who might ruin it all for the school... (as all the large important looking men from the Government in suits say so) And the BSF have got this all worked out on how to squash the Network Managers opinons as rubbish and bad for the school..

But this is the { - ZH} that the Head Teachers and other decision making persons are being fed backed by the might of the BSF Consultants...... Very sad really
