Checking RSOP should be your first port of call with an issue like this. Are you redirecting start menus to a networked location, or are the files local?

Not all diesels have a DPF, though there are of course other (If debatable) reasons not to get a diesel for short journeys.

I don't know - I'm not an expert, but this is Google's official line: Your data will be stored in Google's network of data centers. Google maintains a number of geographically distributed data centers, the locations of which are kept discreet for security purposes. Google's computing clusters are designed with resiliency and redundancy in mind, eliminating any single point of failure and minimizing the impact of common equipment failures and environmental risks. And I know this line has caused people to not go with them. If Norfolk have gone, then they're clearly satisfied that they're fulfilling their obligations.

This is the problem, I'd say. There's always someone who knows something you don't, and that's fine, but to fail them is out of order. I got a C in GCSE IT - pretty bad, but then I didn't bother starting my coursework until the last lesson.. My girlfriend at the time was at a different school (One that hits the top of the UK wide league tables..) and was tasked with building a website in her IT course. She wanted to do well and naturally asked me. I helped her do it, teaching her HTML, CSS, a bit of basic PHP and MySQL etc etc. The key thing is taught, I sat with her for hours - it wasn't a complicated website, really (And it'd look even less so nowadays, with Web 2.0) but it looked really professional and was 100% standards compliant. I think she got a D. Of course, those who did it in FrontPage and made sure to include plenty of animated Gifs did great. Not that I care - I did fine without their help. Sadly, for me, it wasn't until college that lecturers would actually say "Wow, that's really cool - how did you do that?". I still have the graded exam that I did while there - one section was a mock proposal from an IT company to a customer. I just used what I knew, and made it fit with the questions and went into epic detail. It was simply annotated with "Incredible." I'll never fault my college lecturers.

a) No, not to any measure worth worrying about and it certainly won't affect your MOT / legality. b) Nothing happens - I don't quite know what you mean, there. It's just like permanently having the valve closed which it is some of the time by design. Edit: To be fair, one issue you MAY have is the engine management light coming on. I guess that can be a deal killer for some people - I personally didn't have the issue, and often you can just get the code reset. Or live with it!

It's definitely the pump and injectors I'd worry about - I service it often, so the fuel filter doesn't really worry me as it's a 10 minute job. Your clients should be using the KMS client key, and not your KMS host key. For Windows 7 Pro this is FJ82H-XT6CR-J8D7P-XQJJ2-GPDD4 or Enterprise this is 33PXH-7Y6KF-2VJC9-XBBR8-HVTHH . I've never heard of Windows 7 machines becoming KMS hosts..

I only use it for work, so it doesn't get huge attention but I really like what they've got going on with Outlook now.

Schools, yes - and businesses to some degree but I haven't used a desktop in nearly 5 years. Both at home or work. Docking station at work has my peripherals and monitor connected - allows for far better hotdesking, too. I've got to admit - when I first got a modern laptop (That is a laptop that was equivalent to desktops of the time) I refused to let go of my desktop. Then, one day, I realised I'd not powered it up in 3 months with the exception of getting the odd file off it. I've got various chassis and bits at home which I've kept 'just in case', but they're all going this weekend when I clear up the spare room. I can appreciate why people want to keep their desktop, but I can't quite understand. Laptops are just so much more convenient and sociable. To be fair, I'm not really a gamer any more though. I have a few things I like to occasionally waste time on and they all work on my laptop, but for everything else the XBox is fine for me.

Can you give us a screenshot of the two pages of the GPP policy? Initial thoughts: Where is it getting the name "Test" from? Are you trying to run this under the users security context? User or machine preference?

I had to roll out 5.5 very late in the day, and had a similar issue after sysprepping the machine. In the end I fixed it by deploying a script with the Adobe Licensing Repair tool (Or something similar). It's a little command line utility that I found on their website.

Assuming it's not a terminal server or something similar, you could try using group policy preferences to apply the reg keys with the "Remove when this policy no longer applies" option. Obviously the keys are HKLM, though, so be careful. Edit: They may need a reboot to apply, though, so you could be stuffed there.
