  1. Instead of Googling for obscure results like whats that guy in this one movie etc, I use ChatGPT which finds the most insane references you can ever recall. It's also great at sorting lists out, instead of finding a excel formula or creating one I just get it to sort through my csv's.
  2. Thanks Liam, we also had to setup a script which deletes a .lnk or .url shortcuts and disabled the sync of these file formats via a gpo as everytime a user would login the shortcuts would just autogenerate so you would have about 100 internet shortcuts for the same link
  3. PapercutMF for servers & PaperCut Hive for cloud solution (Intune / Google Workspace)
  4. If you try to open any of the files from the SANDMAT folder do they open instantly? If so its not on demand. I presume on demand is only affecting the OneDrive profile and not the SharePoint synced site
  5. The script is telling you that the driver doesnt exist, isnt the correct driver name or it isnt installed
  6. Just do this for me Key Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers\(insert printer name)Value name: NameDetection Method: String ComparisonOperator: EqualsValue: (insert printer name) The detection 100% needs to be Local Machine and not user
  7. Would you be able to screenshot the configuration of the win32 app deployment and settings just so I can go over them
  8. Double check your KeyPath, you sent it as a space. (highlighted in red) "Key Path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wind ows NT\CurrentVersion\PrinterPortsValue name: House Office CanonDetection Method: Value exists"
  9. Hi All, I've got a HP PageWide Color MFP E58650 at site which has job handling enabled for domain logins. Once a user prints on there PC it stores the job under there domain login. What I find stupid is that once they sign into the HP printer with there domain login all accounts are listed so everyone can access each others jobs... Any ideas how to prevent that? (sorry if its the wrong forum to post this thread on...)
  10. Hey T, My name is Jay, and as an experienced IT engineer at an MSP with a background in supporting primary schools, I understand the critical nature of transitions like moving to SharePoint. Our team specializes in facilitating such migrations, ensuring a smooth and secure process tailored to your specific requirements. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs further and provide a comprehensive solution for a successful transition. Please let me know a convenient time for a discussion by messaging me.
  11. You'll need to either get the universal driver or find a driver where it is a .zip file instead of a installer
  12. Hi All, We have been accepted to preview the School Connection teams platform which allows parents to view student assignments and contact teachers just like ClassDojo or Seesaw does. Has anyone currently set this up yet and have used it?
  13. Hi All, We have a issue at multiple sites where backed up OneDrive Desktop, Documents and Pictures have internet shortcuts which are duplicating and end up going into the thousands. We have a script that removes the shortcuts and have disabled .lnk and .urls from being backed up however is there not a native solution?
  14. Hi All, I would love to hear what you've done with Android Tablets regarding Shared Student usage. My plan is to figure out how to do the following: Setup Android Tablets via Intune Set the Android Tablet to Shared Use mode Have it so when the student goes to the Tablet trolley they can pick up any iPad and are instantly prompted for a email The student then enters there Microsoft email and password which then auto signs into all Microsoft products on the tablet
  15. Same here, I didn't realise there pushing shortcuts and not the sync method Like you said your personal OneDrive is like your home drive... cant wait to go back to them and go 'Hey, you know how I said this one thing? Well...' Syncing issues are fun plus the bloody Desktop Shortcuts which always seem to duplicate
  16. So instead of creating shortcuts from the teams to OneDrive go to the files tab on whatever team you want, press 'open in sharepoint' on the top bar which will redirect you to the web page of SharePoint and then press Sync to sync the document library. I'm presuming you've got Azure AD Connect on your DC which allows for SSO for all M365 Apps, also you can automate the Sync process via GPO so that you can sync whatever document library you want to whatever OU. No if they open the file via explorer it'll open it in Autosave live mode just like Teams, as long as they have the latest Office and not Office 2016. So for example if Employee A and B both have the document library synced and open a word document via Explorer then they will both see each other live editing
  17. We use Teams channels as the staff communicate within them so a Staff Team, Year 1 - 6 class team and EYFS. The teams site auto generate there own SharePoint sites and then any room you create within that team is a folder auto created on SharePoint. We then have a GPO / Configuration Profile which automatically maps the document library to OneDrive so users have a choice of accessing sharepoint files either via file explorer or teams
  18. Lads I promise you im not a end user, I was in front of one of the TV's and the IP of the TV was searching at the time. I believe someone has compromised all 3 of Cello TV's as there only android boxes and were using it as a proxy.
  19. Another thing which kept appearing on the searches on all 3 of the Cello TV's was TTProxy
  20. I'm not to sure what you mean sorry, Netsweeper reported live that 3 IP addresses which were the 3 Cello TV's were searching for Steam Inventories, Explicit searches etc I was watching it in real time and have reports regarding it
  21. Yeah completely disconnected them and it stops, completely created a new Wi-Fi SSID and removed the old one as well - - - Updated - - - Nope only when the Smart TV's were on, just honestly crazy never heard anything like it before.
  22. Nope already thought of that unfortunately, nothing is being broadcasted and the Cello Smart TV doesn't have that capability
  23. Yeah it's 100% them, I got all three of the IP's off of the Cello TV, compared it to the live traffic reports and then also made sure on UniFi that the Mac Addresses was identical. As soon as I blocked Wi-Fi from all 3 of the Cello TV's the searches stopped. Really worrying stuff if the Android TV's are compromised.
  24. We have a site which uses Netsweeper and there reporting as showed inappropriate searches, it turns out we have 3x Cello TV's which are connected to the Wi-Fi and are 100% confident in saying that searches from these devices aren't being manually made. Weirdly enough it ranges from explicit searches to even sites like tiktok, instagram and Steam. The steam searches are really strange as they are searching for players inventories. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before as the IP addresses of the Cello TV's / MAC address are 100% the ones searching for this.
