  1. I don't think this is a good option. You have to buy a monitor unless you're reusing old ones, buy a Micro and the Dell stand. So £99 for the stand £100 for the monitor and £350 to £450 for the micro, depending on spec. You may as well get the aio for that price. and get the extra benefit of the sound bar and built in webcam.
  2. Oh, how we laugh...
  3. We use these for Classrooms. Five year warranty direct from Dell. They usually come out the next day to repair, but to be honest, we haven't had many repairs given how many we have. Also has a pop up webcam and built in sound bar.
  4. Just a heads up, a few weeks ago we had a random audit of our CTC. We finished our CTC two years ago. I had two days' notice that someone was coming out from DFE to audit any item that was on the quote for CTC. Literally walking around, yep that switch there, that AP there, even licenses.

  11. Started working somehow. I think the board needs calibrating, but it needs a Windows PC to do that The problem with this school is that they have no money, so we have really old smartboards that need calibration. What do you do about Two-step? The only thing I can think of is Titan security keys for staff. https://store.google.com/product/titan_security_key?hl=en-GB&selections=eyJwcm9kdWN0RmFtaWx5IjoiWkdWMmFXTmxYMlpoYldsc2VWOWZkR2wwWVc1ZmMyVmpkWEpwZEhsZmEyVjUiLCJoZXJvUHJvZHVjdHMiOltbIlgzUnBkR0Z1WDJ0bGVWOXJOVEYwIiwxLG51bGxdXX0%3D
  12. I tested this afternoon, but I couldn't seem to get any touch interaction out of the Chromebook on the smartboard. Plugged in with a USB B to A
  13. Any update on this? Currently looking down this path. I work in five schools four of my Schools are Microsoft, intune. The last School doesn't want to go down that route for whatever reason... The Digital lead for the School is pushing the idea of Chromeflexing all Windows computers and getting Printix for Printing. They don't have Paxton or CCTV. They do use Smart notebook but the digital lead is pushing Canva as a replacement. The School does have good boradband with backup line. Just feel like ditching this School and staying in the other four.
  14. Just for timescale, I deployed 115 Windows 11 PC's with Intune through Autopilot in 3 days. Make a strategic plan and present it to SLT. Give them all the information in a non techy way, etc (Chat GPT) We have X computers that meet Windows 11, and we have X that don't. Give them options. We purchase X amount of computers to resolve the issue. Two, we dispose of X amount of computers until the next financial year, or do them in batches over a few years.
  15. I feel your pain, I was 23 when I took over five Schools from a leaving IT Manager. It does get easier. If it's Microsoft I would go with intune for a longer term solution, I would be happy to help with the setup if needed. (Remotely) I would factor in how old is the server? Is it due to be replaced soon. What's your broadband like, do you have a backup line etc. Happy to speak over teams etc.
  16. RM CC5 is now a free upgrade for CC4 customers
  17. I think we did get this issue. I think there was a setting in Intune to activate with A3
  18. Why? We use Intune with A3, and we install Education. We have no activation issues.
  19. Anyone got any costs for CC5? Don't worry, I'm not looking at getting it, just want to see how it prices up to Intune.
