Why not just force a profile reset?

take all the laptops off the staff.. and all is fixed.. And it will save you lots of problems.. yet to come..

i have a hyper v server with a quad port gb nic Bonded to 4 GB i get 985mb a sec data rate restore on 1 pc. But i do all the pcs at once all 30 in 45 min. more Nics the better..

i set a shedual on the laptops 5 mins after school has ended do forced shutdown. enable wake up if in standby... i have 2008 server so i set it in GPO. it works great.

i dont use mandatory profile there, i use roming profiles, but in the gpo its set not to delete profiles at logoff.. come to think of it thats default it has be on all the servers i have setup?

i have over 30 laptops doing just wat you want nicholab... it's easy.. make a teacher laptop ou put all the laptops in there.. make a GP and set the computers part not to remove profile but to keep the local profiles.
