    BSF Court Decision Announced

    A verdict on the court challenge by six councils regarding the scrapping of the Building Schools for Future program has been announced.   Nottingham, Luton, Waltham Forest, Kent, Newham and Sandwell councils challenged the department of education claiming the scrapping of the scheme was unfair and unlawful. As a result of the hearing the judge, Mr Justice Holman, equated the decision by Michael Gove as an "abuse of power" due to failure to carry out a proper consultation on the scrapping of the

    Well, if you are in the Presston area that is. I recorded a show on Preston FM where I was the guest on Saturday. It's going out tomorrow morning (Wed 09 Feb) at 10am on 103.2 FM (I'm on for the whole hour). I'm a bit gutted as I had to pick 5 songs and only got to play 3 as I waffled too much I'll soon have an MP3 of the show and will upload it as soon as I can after the event. Viva community radio!

    Just a quick reminder of the joint EduGeek/Microsoft webinar due to go out at 3pm (GMT) on Wednesday the 26th Jan.     EduGeek's lighweight mobile skin is live

    If you happen to browse onto edugeek from your mobile phone you should now get our new mobile skin beta which should provide a lighter interface for visiting the forums. The skin should automatically apply when your using a mobile as well but if it doesnt drop me a message with your mobile device details and I will try and find out why. The skin is a beta and a stop gap before our mobile apps are released in the future.
