It must be Bett time once more, and we are more than set for a week of fun and mass geekery at London’s ExCEL to participate in the world’s largest education technology show.

This year we shall be joining forces with the wonderful chaps at ICT Direct on stand E150 right in the heart of the action.

As usual we shall be there to meet you all in the real world, furnish you with freebies, raffle prizes (for both visitors and those who couldn't make it), provide a place to rest and meet up and (some may even think this is the most important part) provide you with free pizza at lunchtime each day (keep an eye on our Twitter feed -

- for timings each day).

We shall also have a big and very powerful USB charging bank on the stand curtesy of ICT Direct, so if you need to rest up for a little while, we can recharge your phone as well as your bones!

Our stand staff will also be out and about around the show looking for the newest and most interesting things to see and play with as well as keeping a sharp eye out for any fun freebies, competitions and giveaways run by exhibitors.

And, as always, we have included below a list of our sponsors to help you find out what they are up to during the show and locate them in the vastness of ExCEL!

Net-Ctrl – C61

Net-Ctrl will once again be exhibiting at BETT on stand C61.

Each year we take a selection of our partners to the show. This year there is a concentration on our building security solutions that are able to integrate together to form an extremely flexible and advanced security solution. These technologies include wireless locks, access control, IP-CCTV and IP PoE audio speakers.

These technologies have been very popular with a number of schools looking to form a secure lockdown solution for possible terror or threat scenarios. The systems have the ability to work together so a push of a button or click on a screen could send a site into lockdown mode immediately securing doors and gates and sending pre-recorded announcements around the buildings.

In addition to these technologies, we will also have solutions from both Ruckus and Palo Alto Networks.

Joining us at BETT 2018,include:

Aperio – Wireless Lock Technology from ASSA ABLOY

CEM – Access Control and Fully Integrated Security Management Systems.

MOBOTIX – High-Resolution IP-CCTV Camera and Video Door Entry Systems

Netgenium – IP PoE Intelligent Audio and Lockdown Solutions

Ruckus – Smart WiFi with Controller and Controller-less Solutions and Switch Portfolio

Palo Alto Networks – Next-Generation Firewalls and Endpoint Protection for Safeguarding

Schools will be able to apply their own branding to the app and have a banner where they can promote events, successes and other news – right in front of parents when they sign in.

We’re also launching 4 app packages – which essentially makes it easier for schools to choose what bits of Schoolcomms they need. Our developers will be on the stand (as well as our sales people) so if EduGeeks want to come and meet SchoolcommsGeeks– you know where we are.
