I couldn't agree more, the language you hear us lot spout is shocking at times.

I always wanted to be an English teacher, go into a classroom and write "c u n ." (guess the last letter, I'm not typing it!) on the board and ask the pupils to discuss the word.

 

In my corner of Yorkshire it was a common substitute for "couldn't".

School escorts are "travel assistants" really. They are their to represent the borough in private taxis or mini buses.
