Edu-IT Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 So what exactly is in the 'new' version which isn't in the current version? I'm a little confused! Is it just the 2013 versions of things, and SkyDrive?
jamesbmarshall Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Office 365 Service Upgrade Center for Enterprise - Upgrade to Office 365 - Office 365 - Microsoft Office 365 Community There's a good starting point.
Jimmer3568 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm still waiting for our tenancy to be upgraded - is there anything I can do to speed this process? Where can I find out when we're due for the upgrade? Many thanks.
bondbill2k2 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Still waiting here, microsoft support tell me they don't know when, a Microsoft partner specializing in SharePoint also told me some of their clients had received the upgrade but not all and they couldn't get any confirmation on pattern or update cycle for 2010 - 2013 . Seems to vary greatly as we are still waiting and holding back on services such has office 2013 and stronger SharePoint.
Edu-IT Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 So I am on Wave 15. Do I need to wait for another upgrade to 2013 Sharepoint? I'm confused. And MS Support seem just as confused as me right now!
bondbill2k2 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Getting long in the tooth now waiting for this upgrade, still no notification so we wont be getting any upgrade it any time before October at the earliest with the aim to move everyone over by the end of 2013 education has been left very much last! The Blog articles have all been removed from the Office 365 Service Upgrade Center wikis page too which had many people commenting on when/where
Jimmer3568 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Rumour has it that thee's only a few school left to upgrade. We're currently on 4 weeks' notice. Small comfort I imagine....
jamesbmarshall Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 still no notification so we wont be getting any upgrade it any time before October at the earliest with the aim to move everyone over by the end of 2013 education has been left very much last! I know it might feel that way, but I can promise you that education has most definitely not been left last. A huge number of customers have already received their service upgrades, with more and more going through all the time. You should receive notification very soon if you've not already. You can also check to see the status of your upgrade in the admin portal.

bigjb Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Still not been upgraded yet. Does anyone have any timescales that Microsoft are working to? 1
jamesbmarshall Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 You should receive a date soon if you haven't already. Feel free to PM me with your .onmicrosoft.com domain name and I'll see if there's any further info. Before everyone bombards me I'm not able to provide much insight into dates if you've not already had yours. We usually only know when you know (or not long before). Best bet is to check your admin portal for info if you're not getting the emails. 2

Is there a management console where I can add users and manage the whole thing. Sorry but I haven't been given any kind of information about this and I am very lost at the moment. Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks Amin
