CC4 - Desktop shortcut for a program

Hello all,

 

Via RM Management Console Under 'User Policies' we have a 'Staff' profile. All the staff want to have a shortcut to a 'diary' program on their desktop when they login. How is this accomplished via RM Management Console please?

Not possible via the Management Console. You need to setup a seperate GPO I think. If im honest, I would't bother. Once you add one icon to the desktop then you will end up with hundreds of requests.

I've created a program set called staff quick links and then placed all my shortcuts into there.

Another option if you are using CC4 windows 7 is for the staff in question to pin the desired program to the taskbar in their individual login.
