mrbios Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Our music department are after a small midi keyboard, we have a class with 16 PCs connected to 16 larger keyboards but the teacher needs a smaller one to show the kids things. In combination with this we could do with some sort of camera that can project what she's doing on the keyboard, our maths department have some where it sits inline between projector and PC and you just press a button to switch between the PC output and the camera, we could do with something like that on a smaller scale again. Can anyone recommend anything they know of? Thanks
john Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Keyboard wise I use M-Audio keyboards and they have been great just got another 6 in to complete our new Music tech room and they have been well received by Music. They are USB powered and just plug in, install a driver and they appear in Cubase, Sibelius and are great no messing with PSUs, adapters etc...

Norphy Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Our music department has one of these: M-AUDIO - Oxygen 25 - 25-Key USB MIDI Controller connected to each of their computers. We also have Aver visualisers knocking around the place which the teachers seem to like. 1
