Not sure how useful this will be since CS2 is now 7 years old. Still, it is free so you can't complain.

Yeah. The link has been posted on lots of sites now.

 

At least I made a note of all of the serial numbers before it went down.

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!

 

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don’t require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <Adobe Community: Looking to activate Creative Suite 2, Acrobat 7, or Macromedia products?

 

So no real difference to "downloading" the latest version, but it's a silly way of doing it Adobe!

I knew it was too good to be true! Adobe aren't normally this generous.

I've downloaded it and registered. Be interesting to see what happens. I still use Premiere Pro 2 at home with Twixtor because I found it was not very stable with CS5.

I have a teacher that wants just Premier pro 2 installed in one classroom after he saw the news that it was now "free".

 

We hold a license for CS3 web premium that doesn't include Premier pro, not sure if we ever held a CS2 license in the past.

 

I'm guessing its probably wrong of me to install this?

Yes that would be wrong IMHO given you didn't own the license.

 

This is "crafty" marketing as others have said but its not legal to use it if you don't own the bits of paper.
