Hi all,

I'm a bit lost with no wallpaper in the rdp sessions in server 2012 - is it possible to get the wallpaper back.

I still use BG info and when I am whizzing between sessions, I find it really useful to have the server name on the desktop.

I've tried desktopinfo, but it has been flakey and often crashes .

Thanks!

I use that Matt, and it is great, but how do you actually log off Server 2012? :S

When you can't use the Windows key in a non-full-desktop remote session (that I know of, pressing Win-key opens the local copy) you miss out a lot of the possible options. I know I generally have to open cmd and type "shutdown -l"

Am I missing something? :)

To log off, mouse to bottom right of screen and click the Start window that pops up, then click on the username in the top right of the start screen and choose 'Sign out'.
