Link: Apple - Samsung/Apple UK judgment ...The informed user's overall impression of each of the Samsung Galaxy Tablets is the following. From the front they belong to the family which includes the Apple design; but the Samsung products are very thin, almost insubstantial members of that family with unusual details on the back. They do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design. They are not as cool... Not much of an apology?

Or that this form of apology is another paving slab in a road that's been well trodden by both 'sides' in other industries before? They're all like primary school kids pulling hair in the playground.

SYNACK Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) It's just their standard BS, they are now suing Samsung for unfair use of patents, ironic much. Someone does need to take their juice boxes away and give them all a time out but the biggest perpetrator is the government which allows their country to be run like a kindergarden in the first place. Someone also needs to add fair and just to the American dictionary as I think that they have lost all reference to their original meanings. In other news the Apple 'elastic' scrolling patent has been nullified by the patent office as when they 'actually checked it' - probably the first time they have done their due diligence ever, they found it to be invalid. This shuts down half of Apple's 'case' in the US but it is evident that the results are brought and paid for already so expect another fine for Samsung courtesy of the Star Skewed Bandanna wunderkind Apple. Oh for 20 billion dollars in bribes, I could effectively 'own' a country for at least a year, I'd have to outbid Apple though. Edited October 26, 2012 by SYNACK

"Apple says sorry to Samsung for being so much cooler than them", except that's not really parody, it's just an accurate summation.

Thus showing they tried to do it [somewhat] nicely and paving the way for a patent infringement lawsuit. That's not how Apple works: APPL: We invented the idea of time travel ages ago and we're only just back from the past using technology we have never implemented and never intend to. We are however suing everyone who has ever written about or discussed time travel for ten times their profit as we 'know' that we would have done it better. You'd have though that the judge would have set out some points which must be stated verbatim, or at least the tone of the text. As it reads, it's as if the judge is endorsing Apple products. Or at least finds them 'cool'.

Maybe they are compensating for the Apple distortion effect. Everything on an Apple is 'at least' half a point more important than it really is, their web devs should have used a PC

The more time passes the less likely I am to buy another Apple product. That being said, the iPod really is incomparable, such a shame about the stupidity of the iTunes store...

TBH, I'm really not. I'll buy maybe 1 or 2 albums a year, if that. Most of the time it's a single song thats stuck in my head that I'll listen to until I'm sick of it then never hear again. I probably spend less than £10 a year on music downloads.
