Hi I'm Penny from London

I'm too old to be classed as a girl anymore.

I work for a local authority.

I have been in tech jobs in the past, although not now.

I'm a very old and lasped MCP/MCSE, so long ago as to be little use now, but it does mean my Microsoft ID number is very low :)

Hello everyone, I joined this forum in response to a query about Grand Canyon white water rafting which came to me by way of Google News Alerts. So while I'm technically not in the Edugeek realm of expertise, I guess you could call me a "Grand Canyon geek" seeing as though I lived and worked inside Grand Canyon National Park for 7 years, plus have personally taken part in just about every Grand Canyon experience out there - airplanes, helicopters, rafting (white water and smoth water), mule rides, hiking, I've walked on the Grand Canyon Skywalk and frolicked in the blue-green waters of Havasu Falls. When it comes to the Grand Canyon, you name it, I've done it!

@K-Bot: You lucky, luck thing!

I've been to Grand Canyon twice. Long time ago though. I hiked along the Bright Angel trail - it was one of the best experiences of my life. Stayed in Flagstaff most of the time - wonderful town. Just wanted to say that!

Hello all. Feel free to call me CJ. I've been Captain Jack since long before the WWW was cool, so I use the name when I can and curse the impostors who use my name elsewhere. I work for the largest school district in my area. I'm an expatriated Kansan living in exile in California. Looking forward to sharing tips and tricks with you all!
