nicholab Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Me and the wife are selling the flat but we got an offer but it would include the our main wardrobe as well. So I am not sure what to do!!
Netman Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I'd let 'em have the wardrobe but tell them the Lion and Witch are staying with you... 3
Willott Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Is the offer enough for you to buy a new place and a new wardrobe (or second hand off ebay)? If there's no family heirloom type reason, why not sell it?
JJonas Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 How long has it been on the market, How many bedrooms and are there any other properties like yours for sale in your area?
Danp Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 How big is the wardrobe? Surely it cant be a deal breaker?
nicholab Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 It been on the market 2 weeks. The wardrobe is form Ikea it was about £600. I suppose I am releasing cash from an asset.
plexer Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Just the wardrobe nothing else? How much is it in ikea now? Ben
aerospacemango Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Depends on the amount of love that you have for this inanimate object.... If they're offering the asking price, and leave the wardrobe, then I'd say goodbye to flat and wardrobe. If they're coming in under the value, then get them to add £500 on top of their offer. Just my view!
nicholab Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 There offer is 5.5k under the initial marketing price. They also increased their offer 3 times so it not bad. We agreed it in principal now.
