What info do you print on them, photo, roll number?

Only used to do it for sixth form and it was name (legal name) date of birth photo and school logo.

 

Lower school never did as did biometrics for catering/printing etc

These are for cashless catering and possibly printing was also thinking if roll number was a barcode on the it may also integrate with eclipse in the library.

Name and DOB here for our sixth form students - some of them even get away with using them in Top Shop / Next etc as student discount cards.

Yes and what is the unique identifier going to be on the cashless system? is it going to be roll number? if so having that printed will enable ease of lookup if its looking that way.

We're aiming to try and negotiate some discounts for students in that way as well.

The cashless system will store the uuid of the mifare card against the students details in the db but roll number is what will be used to associate a uuid with a student.

Legal Name, enrolment number, school logo, and their photograph. On the reverse also have the usual "if found please return to *address of school*
