I am halfway through 87 now, hoping to get a levels worth of levelling done tonight now to hopefully hit 89/90 by friday/saturday all going well.

 

I see more hotfixes this morning to make it a bit easier to aoe tank again, which is good, because thats the thing I was finding a bit frustrating tanking in bear, the whole "active" mitigation thing hasnt sold me on it, the rage cost is too high on the ability for me to make it part of the rotation for me, adding in the fact that you have to threat generate constantly now, even saving rage, its a very high cost at 55 rage to warrant using I think.

 

I am not sure about other mechanics, because I have only tanked on warr and druid since the 5 patches landed and the talents changed.

I just dinged 89 on my main last night. Taking it slow and steady and enjoying the journey, just like the panderan NPCs keep telling me. I got my tanking trinket from Coren too, so that's nice.

I so far have done jade forest and valley of the four winds, think im going to give kasarang a miss and go kun lai summit next though.

A week in and I've 2 Toons upto 88 with both main professions maxed. Might get my main upto 90 by the weekend, then start the panda just to throw beer barrels everywhere.

Hehe, I only really play games with a strong multiplayer/community aspect. I actually hate single player games so a strong guilds is essential to holding my interest.

I just wish WoW wasnt so expensive per month, £8.99 may not seem a lot but really it could/should be a £5 at most now.

Any one know cheap places to get the pandas? do you get 30 days with pandas or is it like previous addons that come with nothing?

You can make a panda for free. You just can't make a monk.

 

And they come with nothing, as usual. Blizzard wants your money.

Isnt that refreshing that you can level a profession to max without any massive gold sink ? I have levelled Herbalism (makes sense on a tauren given the racial) which as a gatherer isnt going to cost anyway and Inscription I have levelled to max here with no effort at all (Just need a massive amount of mats now for my epic feral druid staff)

 

I nearly collapsed in shock a while back myself when blizzard gave out the "Remote AH / Guild Chat" feature for free, given their attitude is "If we can squeeze some cash out of the punter" we will, it must have been a feature that only 6 people paid for prior to it being given free, saying that though, theres no end of "mounts/companions for sale" now on the blizz store, so their maxing out the revenue everywhich way they can apart from selling gold directly, which they wont ever do I believe.

I love the fact that professions are not gold sinks anymore, but I really need to take it less slowly and start leveling up - still not made it to even 86 on any of my 4 main toons....maybe I just need to concentrate on one - lol

I have this... OMG it uses so much data.

 

I managed nearly 40mb of data WITHOUT it actually connecting. [blocked at work.]

88 and a half now, I like kun lai too, seems to be a nice expansive area to me and I like the way that quests are all local to a "hub" rather than travelling across map for an item then back again like in wotlk

I haven't even started Cataclysm content yet... I get to Outland then get annoyed with the "YOU NEED 35 CRYSTALMABOBS!" quests.

Well, you're at the level cap. You have nothing to do, other than Raid and do Dailies.

Yes definitely find someone to do them with, been doing all my content so far with my friendly neighborhood tank and they are much faster .

Well i'm not saying warcraft is perfect but there is a lot to do at max level. Raiding, PvP, scenarios, challenge modes, pet battles, achievement hunting, dailies, rep grinds etc. As opposed to a game like guild wars 2 which is lovely till you hit max level then suddely there is absolutely nothing to do at all.

TBF, I've never hit max. My highest [legit] is about 71.

 

I have a level 80, but that's from the rez Geoff sent me.

I'll do dailies if I'm the in the area already. And it's related to what I'm currently doing, like outland dailies for the crystalmabobs.

I still have half of townlong steppes and all of the dread wastes quests to do too. But at least I can fly now.

I'm just going through and doing the zones in order, should have moved up from Valley of the Four Winds, but went to Krasarang instead, don't like leaving zones behind
