Those aren't the opening credits!

Just a mish mash of previous credits!

Otherwise, it's a backwards step to have Desmond Llwelyn as Q and Lois Maxwell as Moneypenny!

Also, at 1min 8secs, the copyright date is 1983!!!

Still...can't wait for it to come out!!!

True, However I'm little upset they didn't cast John Cleese as Q after the last couple of Brosnan films.

I don't think Q has featured at all yet has he? I thought the intention was to slowly build up to all the traditional Bond features - Q, gadgets, Moneypenny etc. - to show how Bond ended up where he was. I recall phrasing along the lines of "we want to earn those hallmarks of the series".

Not sure if Mr Cleese would fit in with their current tone, mind you, he's not grimdark enough.

Either that, or there have been some impressive developments in either "Synthespian" or Reanimation technology.

No, he hasn't yet, but is rumoured for the new film. Can't remember whose set to play him though. Problem is that Q was never a grimdark character and this is the Bond franchise not Bourne...

That's my wife's contention with the current Bond films - as far as she's concerned, they're not Bond films, they're just action films with a few reused names. Real Bond films should have cheesy one liners and dodgy gadgets and a sense of humour. Much as I enjoyed Casino Royale, there's a part of me that does agree...
