Apple TV split the video and audio?

We planning on putting some Apple TVs in our music dept. However the projectors in there do not have HDMI ports. So is it possible to run the video as HDMI VGA but be able to split the audio out of the feed and run it into the amps / speakers they already have?

Air Server - do you just want to display the Ipad on the screen?

 

Install that on the Desktops and the just display the ipad through the PC - requires a wireless signal from the ipad through the network to the desktop works well and free

Can't be used to run 2 displays simultaneously

Maybe my boss was trialing it - even so $30 for 15 machines is cheaper then 15 x £99 apple tv's

If you go down this route keep the box untill you are sure it works. I've had a number of projectors/screens flatly refuse to sync up from this.

No sync issues or anything so far. We didn't pay that much for them by the way.
