sidewinder Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 For packages that aren't available directly from the publisher, where does everyone tend to buy educational software? I know of Pugh and Academia, but haven't used either. Are there any other notable ones? Mainly looking for a single copy of CS6 at the minute, but would be useful to have a good supplier for other software too.

Linfit Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 We have used Pugh on and off for years. They are not always the cheapest, so its worth haggling sometimes, but they seem to supply virtually everything and the education people there seem pretty knowledgable about licencing issues.
timzim Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 We just bought CS6 through Civica and they gave us a better price than either Crapita or Pugh. We might be signed up to some sort of framework with Civica via the LEA though but it's surely worth a punt.
plexer Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 We've dealt mainly with Ramesys for licensing needs in the past but buoght our EES through Luke @ Millgate Ben
