shenley Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 A reporter seems to have tried to see how many bad puns he can fit into one story ... Hairdressers cut up over EU bid to ban high heels in the workplace - Birmingham Mail
X-13 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) A reporter seems to have tried to see how many bad puns he can fit into one story ... Hairdressers cut up over EU bid to ban high heels in the workplace - Birmingham Mail I wonder how long it'll be before he gets a stern talking to for being unproffessional. I'm sure he though he was a cut above the rest, but if he gets away without being fired he's had a close shave. Also, old news is old... I've been hearing about this for years. sparkeh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 There's too many puns in that article, it needs a quick trim.
Garacesh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 First we have a thread full o' fish puns, and now hairdressing puns? Cut it out, people! We'll all be dyeing from over-exposure to puns soon.
X-13 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 First we have a thread full o' fish puns, and now hairdressing puns? Cut it out, people! We'll all be dyeing from over-exposure to puns soon. You forgot about the spider puns.
sparkeh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 First we have a thread full o' fish puns, and now hairdressing puns? Cut it out, people! We'll all be dyeing from over-exposure to puns soon. What!? Puns are a perm-manent fixture around here.
X-13 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 What!? Puns are a perm-manent fixture around here. I dunno, after a while they get lame and you start pulling your hair out.
sparkeh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 C'mon, sharing puns help us gel together as a community.
X-13 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 You make a good point, it seems I'll have to mullet over...
andyturpie Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I want to curl up in the corner in a perm-enant state.
Garacesh Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 You forgot about the spider puns. I didn't see that one.. But there's so much on the web I can't be expected to see it all.. I might comb through the forums some more and try and find it. Good thing I'm not arachnophobic, else it might get pretty hairy (okay, that second one sucked, hush! )
HarryMonkey Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 It's such a cut throat industry that they would be foolish to get in a strop and just brush it off.
shenley Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 They'll probably work themselves up into a lather.
HarryMonkey Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 This thread has certainly managed to razor smile or two.
mac_shinobi Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 They'll probably work themselves up into a lather. Still some ejit in the shower, you just know the instructions advised to 'rinse, lather, repeat'
