TA working with a group of 4-5 pupils on maths, asks the question;

TA: "If there are 80 legs, how many spiders are there?"

Pupil: "Ooho OOOHH that'd be 10 spiders miss!"

*pauses for thought*

Pupil: "Unless, some of them had had some legs pulled off!"

I chuckled as I walked on down the corridor :)

Maybe a bit of harsh discipline is in order for those spiders. They spend too much time on the web these days.

...he's just drawing you into his web of confusion...

[lame spider based joke]

OH, GOG... Why can't I make jokes?!?!?!

You can find some on the web.

I'm getting too wrapped up in these spider/web puns... I'm even shunning my work.

If my boss walks past, it'll be a sticky situation.

I had a gut feeling as I was flying past this thread this morning that puns were taking place. I could feel the tremors of it, so I looked down the Latest Posts and spider* likely candidate.

GOG, like AraGOG the spider from harry potter?

No, Gog. As in the father of Jebus.

Part of the holy trinity, along with the holy sprite [16-bit]

For one incey wincey moment I thought this was going to be a good thread!

Threads like this are good. It lets us clear out the cobwebs.

This thread started off OK with me spinning a yarn, but since it was put on the web it's gone downhill at arachnid* pace

[*a rapid, geddit?]

Stop.

Don't make me hit you with a rolled up newspaper.

Touché, I was trying to work out how to get arachnid in but I just couldn't spin a good pun around it.

Is this a different version of the liturgy from the Holy Goat?

Yus.

It's from the first church of gameology. It's part of the pre-wintereenmas prayers.

[i may or may not be making this up as I go along...]
