Dw i'n gweithio fel technegydd mewn ysgol iaith Cymraeg, I work as a technician in a Welsh Language school.

Despite not being a welsh speaker (I dropped welsh at year 9 when I was in school for German, something in the benefit of hindsight that was daft, considering I have no intention of ever going to or working in Germany). I am learning as an adult now via Cymraeg i Oedolion - Cymraeg i Oedolion | Welsh for Adults

The school I work in supports me in learning Welsh (the immersion of the environment, is very good for picking up the vocabulary)and the class is not expensive - £100 for a years lessons on the intensive course(2 hours 2 nights a week), which the school reimburse me for, I am nearing the end of year one now, I estimate it will take about 3 years to get up to fluency where I work.

I'm kinda sub-entry level at the moment. I can say some very basic things in first person and that's about it. Using SaySomethingInWelsh » How to learn real, natural Welsh but being naughty and not practicing every day...

As for immersion, I live in London so no other Welsh speakers here. :(

Servers have been down again since about 5pm today unfortunately as the number of posts on the thread below show!

I would go off on a rant about it but this guy pretty much puts across how I'm feeling right now :D

The clip below may contain one or two expletives so probably one for headphones rather than speakers!

Thought the beta was poor, cant see why it took 10 years to make, there are better free games out there to be honest, dissapointed and the whole online server thing is a terrible idea

I saw the video last night and I loaded it up last night, went to start and got 37'd a lot, (Seems blizzard couldnt be bothered implementing a queue system for this game a la wow), eventually logged in, made a barbarian and started playing, got to about level 3 and then it logged me out of the game to the screen, server wouldnt log me back in for about 15 minutes.

Then I managed to log back in, took about 10 minutes after authenticating to the character screen, to get told then that I couldnt go back into the world, because I was basically in a party with Leah, an NPC for a quest, I couldnt select any different quests and every option basically was a no for playing diablo 3, logged out again in frustration, had my tea, came back and logged in and went straight through, though the game had rolled back a fair bit on where it was.

Didnt seem bad from the 30 mins I managed to play it in total, just seems blizz have mucked up a fair bit with it, making it a pseudo online game, it just doesnt need that part.

I played up to a lvl9 Wizard last night. Hacking away and suddenly, my brother pops in to play! :D

I like the pseudo-online part!

Got home to play and it seemed they took the servers down. Went off and caught up with the latest episode of Game of Thrones and they were back up and working fine and the hour or so i got to play was really fun its a shame the servers were so instable for the first day but its not acceptable for them to have these troubles but i can understand why they would.

Having never played a Diablo game I'm unsure if I should try this out, im a bit RTS fan and I played both starcraft and WOW. Is it worth picking up?

Aside from it not being an RTS, give it a go.... If you ask nicely someone here might part with one of their 2 guest passes....

Failing this, give it a month and try the starter edition of it. It's the same as the guest pass content I believe. From the start of Act 1 to the fall of the Skeleton King boss. Max level 13 for all characters on it.

I got to play last night finally, after a few hiccups server wise (37s) I realised I'd been playing on the American server. Went back to EU and lo and behold, no characters.

Though the achievements weren't working at the time, so my barbarian's getting re-rolled again tonight.

I played this during the beta a while back. I wasn't too impressed really, but I reckon it's just because I've never been a fan of the Diablo series anyway. But there's so much hype! To the people currently playing, are you enjoying it? And what do you particularly enjoy?

It's unlike me not to appreciate a game that is popular to be honest, so I'm genuinely intrigued as to what makes this game such a hit.

Having great fun on my Wizard so far, half way through Hell difficulty. For those who are worried about the game being too easy at first have no fear, it really ramps up at the start of Hell and you have to think carefully about pretty much everything you do. Having a party with a mix of classes helps hugely as you don't just get the extra buffs but you also get 3x the loot as you can just swap items with each other. A hint to others would be start getting any gear you can to make you survive before you get to Hell as you will need it.

I got it after not being too impressed with the beta after my other half got it for free with a years WOW subscription. Basically got tired of her asking me "what do i do next, where do i go?" expecting me to have in depth knowledge of a game i never played. Have to say though I'm enjoying it, much better with Co-op and on a proper screen (played beta on OH's macbook :fear: )

Im loving the error 37s and now the error 33's on the game, makes for top entertainment staring at the login screen constantly unable to get onto my chars.

managed to complete normal as a barbarian for now, trying other classes now instead of getting into nightmare and beyond, barbarian was a bit disappointing to play I found so far, Monk seems fun so far as does wizard, although range seems a little strange to play in this game, because of the static viewpoints and point and click nature of the game to me.

I do like how hard they have made inferno mode but they do need to fix exploited builds (wizard especially) so some classes can't just 'breeze' through it while others hit a very large steel plated brick wall very early in inferno. I guess I am used to WoW where things like this get fixed almost instantly.

Although i will say I am going to take full advantage of having a wizard until they do
