Rawns Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Come on then, Captains in order of awesomeness? For me, it's: 1. Janeway 2. Picard 3. Kirk 4. Sisko 5. That goon from Enterprise... 1
gmj Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 @witch : Blimey....just looked up who 'Lust' was. Captains in order of awesomeness? 1. Picard 2. Kirk 3. Sisko 4. Janeway 5. Dr. Sam Beckett
north-ict Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 i hate startrek apart from Enterprise , thats because it wasnt really *g33ky* id love to go just to get a autograph from Scott Bakula , loved him in quantum leap ! I think if its the same organiser that does other similar kind of shows, that they sell signed autographs after the shows done and dusted as well so maybe an idea to keep your eyes peel. Don't quote me on it though i could be completely wrong.
Netman Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Captains in order of awesomeness? 1. Picard 2. Picard 3. Picard 4. Picard 5. Picard "Make it so..." 2
north-ict Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 1. Kirk, Picard (Both number one in there own rights) 2. Sisko 3. Archer 4. Janeway
aerospacemango Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Captains in order of awesomeness? 1. Kirk 2. Picard 3. Kirk 4. Picard 5. Kirk (sneaking in just above Janeway, cos I never really got into DS9 or B5!)
sister_annex Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Come on not one mention of Seven of Nine! That woman made the latter series of Voyager watchable In terms of Captains... 1. Picard 2. Kirk (Shatner) 3. Kirk (Pine) 4. Janeway 5. Archer Didn't care much for DSN so Sisko doesn't count and more the fact he wasn't made a captain till later in the saga
Garacesh Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) 1) Picard 2) Janeway 3) Sisko 4) Kirk (Really not a fan, sorry! ) 5) Archer (Really hated the new 'Enterprise'.. The only 'Enterprise' I care about is TNG!) @witch I truly enjoyed FMA: Brotherhood.. I shoud watch the original FMA sometime.. Although, given the outfit and the name, Lust isn't actually a whore. She's a meticulous, manipulating, evil lady. The Haemonculi name themselves after the 7 Deadly Sins.. So it's not quite as bad as you may think. Edited May 10, 2012 by Garacesh 1
laserblazer Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 William Shatner is hosting HIGNFY on 25t May. That should be worth watching.
Rydra Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 The Pine kirk for me was probably the best; simply because he is the only one of the lot that could ACTUALLY kick someone's ass.... Janeway I swear was only there to drink tea and have the same lock of hair fall out of place in every single battle Picard and Sisko didn't really have hair problems for some reason, but both of them were getting too old for stunt work by the time they sat in the captains chair. Original kirk all I can say is "The Gorn" and that sums it up. Archer was close to being able to prod buttock, but there was still the touch of comedic fighting that the original series had, and I never quite believed it.
jinnantonnixx Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) See if Bill does requests.... got to be worth a go.... http://youtu.be/5hARDXYz2io Oh no! No embedding - never mind, just click it... Edited May 10, 2012 by jinnantonnixx 1

Garacesh Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Accidentally kind of insult a ladies daughter.. Get away scot free.. GREAT SUCCESS
witch Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Insult? Only the word 'evil' really, and as you have never met my daughter, I will allow that you don't know if this applies. Meticulous and manipulating - that's fine......

Also also, I have an FMA pocketwatch. Which, sadly, doesn't work any more. Edited October 17, 2012 by X-13
Garacesh Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Something about Witch's daughter.. If you care enough, go read page 2. I think she said her daughter was dressing up as Lust for something-or-other.. Eh. I have one of those, too. It's not 'broken', per-se, just needs a new battery. The outside's a bit scuffed, too.
tech_guy Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 You might want to avoid central London on Saturday as it might be a bit busy between 11am and 4pm.....

I did read back. And I've tried a new battery. I'm Dani the watch destroyer.
