Where did you buy your iPads from?

Just been asked to look into buying 4 iPads for school. Where did you get your iPads from?

 

I can't seem to find many places cheaper than direct from Apple. Best offer so far is £1 below RRP. :-)

iPad 2 16GB Wifi. As we are a special needs school iPad 3 seems like over kill.

Solutions Inc here as they are local. I think we get 5% discount, but that's all - Apple list prices reign supreme.

Misco. But don't expect anyone to massively undercut the price you can get them direct from Apple from with educational discount unless they're refurbs / used.

We got ours from Western Computer, very fast delivery and their staff are very helpful too.

I tend to recommend people go with an ASE as it is not just the price that is important but the extra support and advice, as well as the links with schools who have done similar projects.

 

IIRC, working with Northants schools over the last few years have been KRCS (who set up the Apple RTC at Silverstone), Solutions Inc (who have also had some folk from Northants Schools on training courses as Apple Certified Systems Engineers) and Toucan.
