Pyroman Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 It's amazing what a bit of decent weather can do, the sun has been out here most of the day and EVERYONE is smiling and appears to be in a great mood. Roll on spring!
Robz Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The sun is out and the sky is clear!.......and I'm stuck in my office
jinnantonnixx Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) Bah! In November & December, we had THREE days when it didn't rain. I'm not making it up, I kept a little chart on the fridge as I had building work going on. 11th of November, 27 December and one other day which I forget. I'm flabbergasted by the drought conditions in some part of the country, it has rained here for 3 out of every 4 days this month. Looking out of the window, visibility is about 0.5 km. At least it's drizzle and not heavy rain. I'm glad I don't smoke; I doubt I could keep a cigarette alight here. Edited February 23, 2012 by jinnantonnixx
sonofsanta Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 It is bloomin' glorious here, and it has perked me right up. Astonishing what a bit of Vitamin D and fresh air can do for you. Of course, by tomorrow I'll have had my fill and be annoyed by the sun shining in my eyes, but for today... c'est magnifique!
jinnantonnixx Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Damn your hides, and damn these rickets.
K.C.Leblanc Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I popped out and had chips in the park. Shame I didn't have a little longer but very pleasant.
DJ-Jonesy Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I was getting temps of 18C earlier in the car up in Cheshire, lovely weather
JonWPS Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I'm not in an air conditioned office anymore, and worse I'm now in an office next to the boiler. Spring can take its time... That said, a bit of sunshine makes all the difference.
Greenbeast Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 i'll be showering for free tonight, very welcome indeed
Sirbendy Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Water leak in the office? Raining heavily and no coat? Or solar panel for water heating? Heh.
mac_shinobi Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Water leak in the office? Raining heavily and no coat? Or solar panel for water heating? Heh. Dunno what you're complaining about, you now have water cooling for all the pc's
elsiegee40 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Beautiful day! Our tortoise has been out enjoying the sun in the garden and so have I
MatthewL Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 17.5 degrees here, its quite nice but as we are on the coast/near the dock we get a breeze which is chilly in parts of town as I have been out and about today.
