Hi Guys,

I've got to create a shared drive (I map them through Group Policy...Windows 2008r2) for students to drop their work into which also allows staff to access and mark

their work.

The students need access to save but not view any other users work. Is it possible?, if not how do you guys do it?

Cheers

ive tested it and it works. there is a thread on here which tells you how to do it, though i forget the name of the topic. The said topic allows students to dump the files but not delete them not view others.

We use a script which looks at a spreadsheet which contains a list of student usernames, this then creates a folder with their name, and another folder inside called marked work. The student drops their work into their folder (this is the only folder they can see), Once a teacher has marked a piece of work, they drop it into the marked work folder and the student cannot get to it again. This stops them from tampering with it.
