Cheap desktop Laser printer suggestions?

I'm about to buy two small laser printers for our front office. Nothing too fancy but would prefer ones that don't break every five minutes. Anybody bought anything over the last 12 months that would fit the bill?

 

I quite like the look of the Brother HL-2270DW or the HP LASERJET P2055 but I have never seen the Brother in the flesh.

id go with a HP over a brother.

 

epson EPL6200l are decent as well, do suffer from iffy paper pickup after 10K pages mind as the roller wears other than that ideal.

if after something bigger and with network access i recommend a kyocera FS2020

I bought the Hp 2055dn for the main office and they are quite content with it there is also a high yield cartridge you can buy for it as well.

We've got the HP2055dn too... lovely little machine. just works and very economical on the high cap toners.

Any reason for that? We have nearly all HP here but I don't know why!

HP printers are in the habit of just working and being problem free in my experience. Brother doesn't have the same reputation... although my personal vendetta is against OKI. I could cheerfully club any of their printers we ever had in school to smithereens. The HP printer era at school has been a joy!

We have just replaced the HT Brother 5240 with a HP 2055, the downside been that Brother you can get away with compatible cartridges whereby HP only tend to like originals

We dont use originals in our HP or Oki printers, some are fussy some aren't it depends on the printer and the quality of the compatible
