Ie the "chips away" is one, why not buy a company someone else is selling, it saves having to buy uniform, products etc from the company you are tied in with. Depends what they want to do, I fancy doing a b+b when I can
featured_spectre Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 If franchising, they would best off looking at what has been doing well (for atleast 5-8 years) in the metropolitan area's (London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol) and then going along similar lines...reason being, gives them an advantage in the market.

But the impression I get is that a lot of franchises are pretty rotten. You could potentialy end up with less freedom, working longer hours, more responsibily and earning less then being employed. Oh and you'll probably have a large wedge invested just to top it off.
