garethEds Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Did anyone go to Warley today (or is going tomorrow?) or are there no model railway fans on Edugeek? Gareth
6Foot2 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Did anyone go to Warley today (or is going tomorrow?)... Yesterday and today. Link: The Warley Show
limbo Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I went - my 8yo son is a train-aholic (he was over the moon to meet Pete Waterman) I have been going with my Dad since I was about the same age (back when it used to be at the Harry Mitchell centre in Oldbury) Plus my daughter wanted a lift to the memorabilia show with her friend so it all worked out nicely.

I went last year with my Dad and again this year. Didn't seem as big, but did seem all squashed into the middle. I have an issue this year with the snobbyness of some of the exhibits. Some of the stands and clubs were just rude. Gareth

36Degrees Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I can see what track the jokes will be heading down now...
laserblazer Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Gareth's response points towards a lack of comprehension. Perhaps we should express ourselves better.
SteseD Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I guess it's going to be difficult to train you guys to get out of these puns!
teejay Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Yep, we're definitely heading off down the wrong track.
shenley Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 The perpetrator of this crime Le Bouveret’s 800kg train engines stolen must have had a loco-motive.
SteseD Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Can I drag you all back onto the subject of Warley, before you lot derailed it with your puns...???
MK-2 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Apologies for my late reply, I had the wrong type of keyboard.
