edutech4schools Posted November 16, 2011 Author Posted November 16, 2011 G+ is imo is better than Facebook. Just logging in for a few mins and looking round is not going to show you the benefits, you have to actually use it a bit to see why its better.

I and a group of friends started using it some time ago, but we couldn't tempt anyone else across and we've since moved back to FB

As someone on here said a while ago, '......A future where computer =iPad and Internet = Facebook' . Apologies to who posted that originally, I can't be a***d to search through to find out, but you know who you are, and I thank you for a very quotable.....quote which I use whenever the subject comes up in my 'social network'.

I hated that site with a passion, Facebook has a much larger mass of users in comparison... will take something very good (or something very bad by Facebook) to make people change with the amount of photos etc loaded up there now. From reading comments in the last few days the offensive photos hack seems to have had a big effect... something like that continued over a sustained period would be one way of change happening I guess!
edutech4schools Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 the amount of photos etc loaded up there now G+ imports photos from Facebook. G+ has a real photo storage / backup solution = picasa G+ will never own your photos. The second you upload a pic to facebook they own the rights.
