A3 Scanner Recommendations

Does anybody have any recommendations for a decent A3 scanner? Possible network

 

and we do have MFD's but they don't want them in the classroom.

Our reprographics dept has an Epson GT-20000 A3 Scanner which performs very well. Not cheap tho....

I've dealt with Epson on these recently and the Epson Expression 10000XL is the cheapest i found at not much over £1500 and i've had no complaints about it

another +1 for the epson GT. I've used these at various points throuh my working life and they have always been excellent.

We have Mustek A3 scanners in our D and T department, lets say they do what they say they do, scan. I wouldnt recommend them, (I know you asked for recommendations) as they aren't the easiest to install.

 

I find the easiest way to get kids to use the scanner is using the scanner wizard (Scanner and Faxes wizard)

We've had a few musteks, they're pretty nasty but if you want to spend less then a grand they're probably the only option.

I'll avoid like the plague - i'm not paying for it but our art dept have requested a recommendation - hence turning to you guys!
