36Degrees Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'd also like to add my thanks for getting the site back up. Now please don't break it again - especially when, like this time, I actually needed it for help not just "social" blithering!
witch Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) So glad to see you back - well done ZH. some people seem to know what happened and some don't - looking forward to hearing what went on - within reason of course didn't realise how much I have come to depend on this place..... pcstru Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I have to say I particularly liked the way edugeek then hacked Steam to divert attention away from their own breach. (joke - just in case). 1
MrEprise Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Goes without saying that I too very much missed the forums and sooo glad it's back. I was getting further withdrawal symptoms when the Password Reset wouldn't work for me. Tried it several times with no resulting email; then it hit me, I had a rule (that I'd long forgotten about) set up to deliver all edugeek mails to a very deep subfolder which was why I couldn't see anything.
X-13 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'm happy the site is back up. I actually had to... WORK... Although, it did get me to sort out LastPass and twitter.
Soulfish Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Good to see EG back up and running. I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms!
MrEprise Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'm happy the site is back up. I actually had to... WORK... You be careful. You don't know what you might end up doing, doing this so called WORK.
adhutton Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Not sure if Admins are aware (apologies if this has already been mentioned/discussed), but when you click on the Direct Support tab above and then try and get back to the main site there are missing links/pages. Example missing page: http://www.edugeek.net/directsupport/content.php Just thought I would mention in case you hadn't spotted them.... A
